With the timber crop reaching harvesting stage, 3 km of forest road required upgrading to allow the timber to be transported.

The project involved the extraction and crushing of 10000 tons of rock spread at 300 mm with stock left for future maintenance.

The road was flailed to remove regen, ditches cleaned, culverts installed and the formation reprofiled in preparation for resurfacing.

Water management was of huge importance on this site due to working in a Scottish Water catchment area and several private water supplies on site.
