We were asked to provide forestry fencing and ground preparation services on this 250 ha project in the Scottish Highlands.

Twin disc scarifiers were used to remove rank heather vegetation and open the soil to provide planting positions on most areas. Hinge mounding was used in wetter areas and tapering towards watercourses.

9000 m of high specification deer fencing were installed including rabbit / hare proofing. The estate had an active partridge shoot and several black grouse lecks on site meaning that timber battens were required to give the fence visibility.
